WHAT IS FULL SPECTRUM?

Full spectrum simply means that all cannabinoids that are present in the hemp plant are also present in our completed products. The hemp plant has hundreds of cannabinoids present. Once the hemp plant has grown and fully matured, the cannabinoids are extracted out of the flowers to use as the foundation for many of our products.

As science continues to develop and understand the endless possibilities that these plant compounds can contribute to, one thing that has been realized is that these cannabinoids work together in what is has become to be known as the "entourage effect"

The Entourage Effect is a synergistic relationship and response pattern where all of the natural cannabinoids work together to assist in executing their different functions and potential benefits.

HOW DO CANNABINOIDS WORK WITH THE BODY?

Cannabinoids work with the body’s own Endocannabinoid System. The Endocannabinoid System is a system in the body just like there is a digestive system, circulatory system and nervous system. Discovered in the 1990s, the Endocannabinoid System is believed to be one that is responsible for ensuring homeostasis (balance) within the body.

There are three major parts of the endocannabinoid system - the endogenous cannabinoids (made by the body), the receptors (to receive the endocannabinoids) and the enzymes that breakdown these endocannabinoids once they’ve done their job.

With plant-made cannabinoids, like those found in the hemp plant like CBD, these compounds work like the body’s own made compounds would work. The plant’s cannabinoids fit to the receptors and assist with whatever various functions that need to be executed at the time

WHAT IF I'M NEW TO CBD/THC?

There are many who are new to CBD products, or new to trying Full Spectrum products. As with any natural wellness supplement, it is always a good idea to talk to your physician about potential interactions with prescriptions you may be currently taking.

It is also good practice to start off with a smaller amount of CBD and work your way up to a desired result. This is also a good idea if you’re transitioning into full spectrum products from isolated CBD, as many have reported getting their desired results with less. This is believed to be because of the Entourage Effect synergy that a full spectrum product encourages.
